Alpina Celebrates The Xtreme de Verbier’s 25th Anniversary With A Dedicated AlpinerX Limited Edition

In January, Alpina Watches renewed its partnership with the Freeride World Tour for the third consecutive year. On this occasion, Alpina developed the AlpinerX Freeride World Tour limited edition of 150 pieces, out of which 25 are dedicated to the celebration of the Xtreme de Verbier’s 25th Anniversary.

Designed especially for lovers of the great outdoors, this watch is linked up to the Alpina App - available for iPhone and Android – which monitors your heart rate via a belt and measures altitude and pressure. Also equipped with a GPS location tracker, the application sends data to your watch in real time to help take your performance to the next level.

A specific design

The AlpinerX Freeride World Tour limited edition was developed in collaboration with the Freeride World Tour and presents a very special design. The timepiece features a black mat finishing dial bearing the official Freeride World Tour logo at two o’clock, a digital screen and applied silver white luminous indexes. Enhanced by a black fibre glass and stainless steel with 360° bi-directional turning compass bezel, these models come on a black rubber strap.

To celebrate the Xtreme de Verbier’s 25th Anniversary in 2020, Alpina developed a safety package with the Freeride World Tour partners to include a Recco helmet rescue Reflector and a Black Diamond Guide BT Avalanche Beacon. The limited edition of 25 timepieces will be delivered in a dedicated gift box featuring a commemorative plate bearing the 25th Anniversary Xtreme Verbier logo and the limited edition number X/25 inscription. What’s more, each of these 25 watches are engraved with the limited edition number, from 1 to 25.

Delivered with the AlpinerX Freeride World Tour Safety Package, the gift box also contains a RECCO helmet rescue reflector and a Black Diamond Guide BT Avalanche Beacon.
